The Role As our Lead Python Engineer, you will:Architect and build integrations with third-party platforms (Microsoft Graph, Slack, browsers, etc.)Design robust ingestion pipelines to process and structure high-volume dataWork closely with our AI team to push structured data into LLM-driven pipelinesHelp shape database schemas and content organisation strategyCollaborate with frontend engineers to design intuitive integration configuration flowsSet engineering standards and mentor other engineers as we grow This is still a highly hands-on role - you'll be writing production code daily - but you'll also influence technical direction and integration strategy across the company. What We're Looking For5+ years software engineering experience - ideally with PythonExperience building production API integrationsExposure to LLM workflows (classification, summarisation, embeddings, etc.) - A nice to have!Strong systems thinking - data modelling, pipelines, scaling considerationsExcellent communication skillsComfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment We're looking for a strong Python generalist - someone who can move between APIs, data pipelines, AI workflows, databases, and infrastructure without being narrowly specialised in just one area.
