Structural engineering firm based in Simi Valley is looking for a highly motivated Full-Time EIT or project engineer to assist with the drafting, engineering and permit processing for Residential, Multi-Family, and Commercial Projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
Drafting as-built Floor plans and Framing plans
Taking Field Measurements
Provide Design Support as needed
Submitting plans to the City or County
Corresponding with consultants and building\planning officials
40 hours a week with possibility of overtime.
Desired Skills and Experience:
1 to 3 years Professional experience in Residential or Commercial Drafting Experience
Proficiency in Autodesk Suite of Products especially AutoCAD
Proficiency in AutoCAD architectural Desktop in preferred but not required
Engineering degree and\or EIT license are preferred
Experience in Structural Calculations is a plus but not required
MS Office programs desired
Must have current driver’s license and own transportation
Understanding of Construction detailing and consultant drawings
Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to meet pre-disclosed deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
