Orthopedics Physician Assistant

An established orthopedic practice in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. Work alongside a fellowship trained surgeon specializing in total joints. Candidates with orthopedic experience will be considered as well as licensed new graduates. Responsibilities:• Full-time permanent position• Monday-Friday schedule• Split between the OR and clinic, some hospital rounding• No call or weekend requirements• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments• Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients• Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed• Perform injectionsQualifications: • Maryland State license• Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminology• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systemsBenefits: • Competitive base salary• Bonus compensation• Health, vision, dental insurance• PTO, sick days, holidays• CME allowance
