Senior Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our team. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be located within U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby on Rails, HTML5, and full-stack development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and scalability of applications.Maintain and optimize existing codebase to improve performance and reliability.Utilize HTML5, Bootstrap, and HAML to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.Work with PostgreSQL databases to design, implement, and optimize data structures.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.Qualifications:Required Experience:Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails.Proficiency in HTML5, Bootstrap, and HAML.Strong understanding of full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.Experience with PostgreSQL and database optimization.Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience working in a remote environment.
