Security Engineer

Position: Cyber Incident Response EngineerLocation: Alhambra, CA (Onsite)Pay Rate: $50-65/hr (W2)Duration: 12 monthsPosition Overview:We’re looking for a skilled Security Engineer to secure complex technology environments and help bridge legacy systems with modern security practices.What You’ll Do:Conduct security audits, vulnerability testing, and code reviewsDevelop solutions to mitigate security risksResearch emerging threats and advise teams on secure system designCollaborate across development and operations teams to ensure system privacy and protectionWhat We’re Looking For:Experience: 10+ years in security engineeringTech & Tools: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Palo Alto Firewall, Zscaler, SIEM, KQL, MCP, LLM tools (Codex, Claude, or similar)Skills: Security architecture, networking, encryption, incident response, risk management, compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)Systems: Windows, Unix, Mac; SQL, Azure, OracleEducation & Certifications:Bachelor’s in IT/Engineering (or equivalent experience)CISSP & ITIL Foundation
