Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work in ambulatory operating room setting with 9 operating rooms • Shift options: 3x12s from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 4x10s from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday • One late week per 4 weeks required to complete cases • No weekend coverage required • No on-call responsibilities • Possibility of floating within perioperative facility • 2 years of OR experience required • Travel experience required • First-time travelers not accepted • Required certifications: South Carolina RN License/Compact RN License, BLS, NBSTSA • Radiation badge must be provided by parent company • Experience preferred in Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology • Epic charting system experience required • May be required to precept care team members • Patient ratio of 1:1 • 30 hours of orientation provided • Guaranteed hours with potential call-off of 10 hours per 2-week period • Work with adults only • Extensive skills required including endoscopic procedures, laparoscopic cases, joint replacements, arthroscopies, and various specialty surgeries • Experience with specialized equipment including lasers, mini C-arm, Storz video towers, and Arthrex arthroscopy towers • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This healthcare organization operates a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center featuring 9 operating rooms in the Rutledge Tower.
