Otolaryngology Job Details Employment Type: Locum tenens physician (travel contract)Location: Staten Island, NYFacility: Academic Level I Trauma CenterStart Date: April 1, 2026Schedule: 40 hours per week; 5 shifts/week, 8-hour daysCall Coverage: Options for 24-hour at-home call (7am 7am) or night call only (5pm 7am); provider is at home and comes in when calledPatient Population: Adult and pediatric ENT cases EMR System: Meditech Otolaryngologist Qualifications Active New York medical licenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology (ENT Physician)Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Otolaryngology/ENTSkilled in managing both adult and pediatric ENT casesProficient in emergent ENT proceduresFellowship training not requiredTemporary privileges available for expedited onboarding ENT Physician Responsibilities Provide consults for in-house patients, including floors and ED post-op follow-upsRespond to call-backs and provide scheduled coveragePerform a full range of ENT procedures, including:Epistaxis controlAbscess drainageFacial trauma repairTonsillectomy/AdenoidectomyTracheostomySinus surgeryHead & Neck proceduresTake patients to the OR for emergent ENT casesCollaborate with hospital staff, including anesthesia (available 24/7) and surgical PA support overnightSchedule OR cases as needed (shared responsibility with hospital)Participate in ED consults as required
