This position carries out administrative responsibilities in the following functional areas: New hire onboarding, off-boarding, orientation, recruitment, negotiating offers, pre-employment, performance management, policy implementation, employee relations, uploading documents to employee files, general benefits, and compliance with all hospital standards and state and national labor laws. Serves as the first point of contact for all on-site employee's general questions regarding HR.Responsibilities:Primarily responsible for the onboarding process and new hire orientation, preparing on-boarding/off-boarding notices and related documentationMaintains electronic personnel files and uploads all documents timely and accuratelyAssists with benefits administration, including FMLA, Employee Assistance and communicates benefit information to employeesAssists with recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnelMaintains accurate and current personnel files for employees and contractor/agency personnelAssists with evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.Participates in developing department goals and processesRecommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve the efficiency of the department and services performed continually.Strives to meet the needs of all customers by answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptlyAssists in the interpretation, maintenance, and advising of personnel policies and procedures for all organization personnelOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelors Degree or equivalent3-5 years of general HR experienceHospital experience preferred; knowledge of Joint Commission requirements and licensure a plusKnowledge and experience with Kronos timekeeping and ADP are preferableComputer proficiency requiredCustomer service orientatedExcellent communication and people skillsMust understand the confidential nature of Human ResourcesAbility to multitaskDetail orientedWhy Choose Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth?Leading Collaboration: Our hospital stands as a remarkable joint venture between Tenet Healthcare, USPI, and the esteemed Baylor Scott & White network.
