Administrative Assistant (USAFSAM/FEC Support) Location: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Company: Venesco LLC Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM (flexibility required)Overview Venesco LLC is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to support the 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW) and the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM/FEC) at Wright-Patterson AFB.The 711 HPW delivers cutting-edge human performance research, education, and consultation to optimize Air Force personnel capabilities. This role provides essential administrative support to ensure mission success within a dynamic military medical environment.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to division staff and leadershipPrepare and manage travel requests, orders, and vouchers using DTS, ETMS, and TRSReview, process, and maintain correspondence, reports, and official documentsDraft, edit, and proofread reports, briefings, and presentationsTrack suspense dates and ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverablesMaintain personnel contact rosters and organizational informationServe as the first point of contact for visitors and phone inquiriesManage and track military and civilian performance reports, awards, and decorationsMonitor office supplies and coordinate replenishmentServe as liaison with credentials management and internal departmentsUtilize systems such as SharePoint, MICT, vPC, and LiveLinkRequired Qualifications Associate degree requiredMinimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Adobe AcrobatStrong organizational, communication, and proofreading skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPreferred Qualifications Administrative experience in a military or federal environmentRequirements & Compliance U.S. Citizenship required (base and system access)Ability to obtain a Tier 1 (T1) background investigation (SF-85)Must meet healthcare worker requirements per AFI 44-108, including immunizations and annual screeningsCompliance with all DoD, Air Force, and site-specific policiesParticipation in OPSEC training and adherence to security protocolsWork Environment On-site role at Wright-Patterson AFBStandard office environment within a medical/research settingGovernment-furnished workspace, equipment, and systems access providedAdditional Information No travel anticipatedPosition classified as non-personal servicesPerformance measured via government quality standards (CPARS)Why Join Venesco?
