Junior Product Development TrainerLocation: Framingham, MAOnsite Flexibility: Hybrid Normally 2 days onsite (typically Tuesday/Wednesday); subject to change weekly based on business needContract DetailsPosition Type: ContractContract Duration: 6 monthsPay Rate: $37.00 / Hour (USD)Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Job SummaryThe Process Technology & Training team is seeking a highly motivated individual to help in the design, development, facilitation, and implementation of new and existing software to users within Product Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Product Development professionals to ensure the effective adoption of new tools and processes. The ideal applicant will have previous experience with Product Life Cycle Management systems and Product Development processes. This role supports training initiatives for Global Product Development and its partners, focusing on both new and existing software, as well as Product Development-specific processes and tools, and collaborates closely with Product Development teams to drive successful adoption and integration of new tools and workflows. This role supports a Global Department which touches $5B in annual retail receipts.Key ResponsibilitiesAssists in creation and delivery of training materials related to Product Development including manuals, quick start guides, exercises, and presentationsFacilitate training sessions for new and existing team members on product development systems, tools, and processesConduct user training sessions both live in-person and virtuallyExperience developing and presenting training to various audiences and skill levelsProvides training technical support to resolve issues within the applications the team supports within Product DevelopmentConduct Needs Assessments to track and evaluate the effectiveness of training, identify skill gaps, and adjust future training accordinglySupport the development and maintenance of onboarding programs for product development teamsMaintain accurate training records and track trainee progressRecommend changes to training material if content is outdated or unclearSuggest improvements to documentation or workflow based on trainee feedbackRecommend tools or systems to better support learning or presentationsContribute ideas for making on-boarding more efficient and user-friendlyRequired SkillsAbility to learn Product Lifecycle Management software functionality and processes and translate information into high-quality, easily understood trainingStrong communicator, comfortable facilitating and delivering technical or business process training to small and large groupsComfortable coaching and resolving process and training related issues with the user communityStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsProvides an elevated level of customer focus and positive working attitudeWorking knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, & Forms)Proven experience in developing and facilitating engaging training contentDemonstrates a creative approach to developing compelling training and communication resourcesStrong communication and presentation skillsHighly organized with keen attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentCollaborate effectively with the Training team to design and deliver high-quality learning curricula and communications that support organizational goalsAbility to pose insightful, targeted questions to uncover system requirements, enabling the design and delivery of customized training solutions that effectively meet user needs and support project successDemonstrates the ability to both provide and receive feedback constructively, fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing overall learning effectivenessProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator & PhotoshopWillingness to learn and collaborate on ideas to aid in continuous improvementMust be open to the possibility of domestic and overseas travel, when requiredPreferred SkillsAdobe Illustrator and InDesign knowledge is a plusBasic understanding of Product Development is desiredPrevious experience working within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system is a plusBasic understanding of product development lifecycle preferredExperience with PLM and 3D design software, Adobe Suite a plusEducation RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Learning & Development, Business, Retail Management, Fashion Design, or MerchandisingRequired Experience1 3 years of Training & Facilitation experienceNice-to-Have Experience0 2 years of experience in Learning & Development, retail, product development, or any additional related fieldsWork Environment / Physical RequirementsMust be open to the possibility of domestic and overseas travel, when requiredBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the ClientOff-Price Apparel and Home Retailer A Fortune 500 company and the leading off-price apparel and home fashion retailer in the U.S. and worldwide.
