It is the leading emergency facility in the area with a Level II Trauma Center in the Coastal Bend, staffed with physicians and nurses specially trained in emergency services.The Pavilion and North Tower house a state-of-the-art emergency department, ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and surgical suitesA teaching facility in affiliation with the Texas A&M University System Health and Science Center College of MedicineAccredited Chest Pain CenterAccredited Joint Commission Stroke TeamSummary:Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being.Responsibilities:Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake.Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors.Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.Job Requirements:Education/Skills* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience* Experience in a hospital setting preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications* BLS required.Work Schedule:6AM - 6PM 12 HR ShiftWork Type:Full Time
