Assembler (Sub-Zero) - 3rd ShiftThe Assembler position will support department goals regarding quality and quantity of production in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary at different workstation assignments and as different product models are manufactured.Responsibilities:Assemble parts per work instruction into high quality product utilizing tools and fixturesUtilize test equipment to ensure product is assembled correctly per quality expectations and other standardsVisually inspect parts and product for defects such as scratches, dents, slugs, pinched wires, etc.Utilize workstation computer to read schedule, match parts to work orders, view work instructions, scan parts into inventory software, etc.Adhere to safety standardsUphold quality expectationsTrain employees on procedures and techniquesAssist in defining work instructionsHousekeeping and workstation organization tasksOther duties as assignedShift Schedule3rd shift hours are normally Sunday - Thursday, 9:30pm - 5:30amEmployees may have an unexpected shift assignment change to 2nd shift. 2nd shift schedule is normally Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 9:30pm.This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. A negative drug/alcohol test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration.
