Application Systems Analyst/Programmer

**Job Title:** Senior Application Systems Analyst/Programmer **Location:** Washington DC **Job Type:** Contract **Introduction:** We are seeking a Senior Application Systems Analyst/Programmer to join our team. This role involves formulating and defining the system scope and objectives through meticulous research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding for the development or modification of information systems. - Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. - Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain software programs. - Competently handle all phases of application systems analysis and programming activities. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming. - Proficient in multiple programming languages and tools. - Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. - Excellent communication skills and capability to work effectively in a team environment.
