Job Description About the Client:The Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) is a government organization responsible for administering healthcare services and ensuring regulatory compliance across the state of Florida. The agency's Information Technology division supports critical systems and services that enable efficient healthcare operations, innovation, and public service delivery.About the Role:The Applications Development Analyst will support AHCA's IT operations by designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications, with a strong focus on ServiceNow solutions. This is a full-time role primarily based onsite in Tallahassee, Florida, with some flexibility for remote work.The position involves working closely with IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions aligned with agency standards and methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Architect, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirementsReplicate and enhance ITSM (IT Service Management) functionalities and custom automationsBuild and maintain customer portals, service catalogs, and online formsIntegrate ServiceNow with systems such as Active Directory, Okta, and JiraCollaborate with IT teams and project managers to deliver technical solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform issues and business needsDevelop, test, and implement new functionalities and enhancementsAnalyze complex business processes and recommend improvements using best practicesProvide status updates and documentation in compliance with agency standardsDesign, develop, maintain, and support software applicationsExecute software test plans and ensure quality assuranceProvide development estimates and participate in continuous process improvementsQualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)+ 5 years of professional experience in application developmentTechnical Skills:Extensive experience with ServiceNow architecture, ITSM, SPM, ITOM, and Integration HubStrong expertise in developing and implementing ServiceNow solutionsExperience with .NET frameworks, C#, SQL Server, and OAuth 2.0Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps and Kendo UIKnowledge of JavaScript and enterprise integrations (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD)Certifications (Preferred):ServiceNow Certified System AdministratorITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) knowledgeCore CompetenciesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsProblem-solving and analytical thinking abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in team environmentsLeadership, adaptability, and decision-making capabilitiesStrong customer service orientation and professionalismCompensation:$53–$60/hour
