Python Agentic AI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and enhance scalable, cloud-native applications and AI-powered solutions.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Django, GraphQL, AWS, microservices, and event-driven architectures, along with experience building or integrating Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities.This role requires a strong engineering mindset with the ability to work across application architecture, backend development, data, cloud infrastructure, security, and scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Python and Django.Build and maintain GraphQL APIs, including experience with Apollo GraphQL.Develop cloud-native applications and services on AWS.Design and implement microservices, SOA, and event-driven architectures.Develop event-driven workflows using messaging and publish/subscribe patterns.Integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities into enterprise applications.Work with LLMs, AI APIs, agent orchestration, tool/function calling, and RAG-based solutions.Design robust data pipelines and ETL processes supporting application and AI workloads.Develop and optimize applications using PostgreSQL and other data technologies.Design applications for high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance.Implement appropriate application and platform security controls.Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/Designers, Data Scientists, Architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests.Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern software engineering best practices.Continuously improve application architecture, development processes, and engineering standards.Required Skills7+ years of professional software engineering / systems architecture experienceStrong hands-on Python development experienceStrong experience with DjangoStrong experience with GraphQL, preferably Apollo GraphQLStrong AWS cloud experienceExperience designing and developing microservicesStrong understanding of SOA and event-driven architecturesExperience with RESTful APIs and distributed systemsStrong experience with PostgreSQL or relational databasesExperience with data pipelines / ETLStrong understanding of application security and cloud security principlesExperience with automated testing, including unit and integration testingExperience with Agile development methodologiesUnderstanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)Strong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Generative AI / Agentic AIExperience with LLM integration and AI-powered applicationsExperience with RAG, vector databases, and embeddingsExperience with AI agent orchestration and tool/function callingExperience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similarExperience with AWS Bedrock or other enterprise AI platformsExperience with ReactExperience with Kafka or other event-streaming platformsExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with CI/CD and DevOpsExperience building highly scalable enterprise applications in financial services
