The unit focuses on patients experiencing acute ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke (including subarachnoid hemorrhage and intracerebral hemorrhage), and transient ischemic attacks (TIAs). Additionally, the unit cares for general and surgical neurological patients with diagnoses ranging from myasthenia gravis to post-surgical tumor resection.
