Data Scientist (AI/ML, GenAI)Location: San Francisco, CAType of Employment: W2 ContractJob Summary:We are seeking a Data Scientist to build and deploy scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for large-scale data and document processing. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design models, develop production-ready solutions, and support AI/ML platforms in a modern cloud environment.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement AI/ML and GenAI solutions (RAG, document understanding, anomaly detection)Build, deploy, and maintain models using Python, ML frameworks, and cloud toolsDevelop scalable data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and modern data platformsCollaborate with business teams to translate use cases into technical solutionsEstablish and support MLOps practices, model monitoring, and performance tuningProvide technical guidance and support for AI/ML initiativesRequired Skills:4+ years of experience in Data Science / ML / AI developmentStrong Python and SQL skills; experience with R or similar toolsHands-on experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and prompt engineeringExperience working with unstructured data/document processingKnowledge of AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock)Experience with Databricks, PySpark, and modern data stacksStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsQualifications:Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
