Senior Python Backend Developer

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to support data transformation initiativesAnalyze and convert complex SQL queries to align with new data sourcesSupport and execute large-scale data migration activities while ensuring data integrity and accuracyEnhance applications to integrate with new data platforms and sourcesWork extensively with Snowflake for data warehousing, migration, and analyticsDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and microservices architectureEnsure seamless data integration across multiple systems and platformsRequired Skills & Experience:7+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in PythonHands-on experience with microservices architecture and REST/SOAP APIsStrong database experience with SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, or similarExpertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queriesExperience working with Snowflake, including data extraction and integrationSolid experience in data analysis and handling large datasetsFamiliarity with Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPIExperience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Bitbucket, and GradleStrong understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and data pipelinesExperience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similarPreferred QualificationsExperience in the financial or mortgage domainKnowledge of data warehouse concepts and enterprise data platformsExperience with GraphQL and Snowflake APIsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
