Playwright SDETLocation: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid – 4 days/week onsite; Non-negotiable)Top 5 Must-Have Skills:Strong experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation testing.Experience with API automation using Postman.Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (JavaScript/TypeScript or similar).Experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Playwright SDET to support Cross-Border Banking initiatives by designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software through robust UI and API automation while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, execute, and automate functional test cases for Cross-Border Banking applications.Perform dry runs of automated test cases, including test data setup, to ensure successful execution.Develop and maintain UI automation using Playwright.Perform API automation and validation using Postman.Collaborate with onshore teams, application developers, and Quality Engineering teams to clarify test scenarios and test data requirements.Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.Utilize GitHub Copilot and AI-powered tools to improve automation productivity and code quality.Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, testing processes, and best practices.Required Qualifications:Proven experience as an SDET or Automation Test Engineer.Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.Experience performing API automation using Postman.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks.Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams.Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Additional Information:Hybrid: 4 days per week onsite (Non-negotiable)Face-to-Face Interview RequiredPotential Contract-to-Hire after 3 monthsAll qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
