OpportunityPropel Schools is seeking a Head Middle School Girls Basketball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this Winter:Propel Braddock Hills Middle SchoolPropel EastPropel HazelwoodPropel HomesteadPropel McKeesportPropel Montour Middle SchoolPropel NorthsidePropel PitcairnSuccessful Candidates Will HavePrior Middle School, Varsity and/or Junior Varsity Basketball coaching experiencePreferred candidates will have experience as a head coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the middle school levelResponsibility for assembling his/her coaching staffExperience coordinating a middle school basketball program with the coaching team and/or athletic directorExperience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.High level of personal organization and planningStrong communication and relationship building skillsWillingness to participate in ongoing professional developmentA commitment to the Propel HabitsSeason InformationThe 2026-2027 Middle School Girls Basketball season is scheduled to begin on January 4th, 2027 and is anticipated to conclude in March, although the season may end earlier/later depending on if the team participates in postseason.This position includes a seasonal stipend of $1,750. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
