OpportunityPropel Schools is seeking an Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this winter:Propel Andrew Street High School/Propel Braddock Hills High SchoolPropel Montour High SchoolSuccessful Candidates Will HavePrior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experiencePreferred candidates will have experience as a head coach or assistant coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the varsity levelResponsibility for assembling coaching staffResponsibility for supporting the Varsity program with the assistant coach, athletic director and other coaching staffExperience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.High level of personal organization and planningStrong communication and relationship building skillsWillingness to participate in ongoing professional developmentA commitment to the Propel HabitsSeason InformationThe 2026-2027 Boys Varsity Basketball Season is scheduled to begin in November and is anticipated to conclude in February, although the season may end earlier/later depending on if the team participates in postseason.This position includes a seasonal stipend of $3,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
