Details Hospital-based Adult Surgery Operating Room setting Perioperative circulator role serving adult surgical patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures Patient care is individualized based on health status, age, and the specific surgery or procedure being performed Night shift schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Holiday and on-call coverage required 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; all certifications must be AHA-issued Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute hospital Operating Room required Level 1 trauma experience of 6 months required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred CNOR certification preferred Strong understanding of AORN Standards Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Responsible for direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients in the OR, including ongoing evaluation and documentation of all care components within the perioperative environment Applies clinical knowledge and judgment based on scientific principles to address patients' physical, psychological, and spiritual needs during surgical and invasive procedures Some computer skills required Previous travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply for another contract Full DOB and full SSN are required for consideration Compliance deadlines at this facility are strictly enforced and non-negotiable; candidates should be prepared to begin the onboarding process immediately upon commitment American Traveler Job ID P-686274.
