Acts as the primary point of contact for Brands and Functions related to monthly close deliverables. This position will report directly to a manager within the external financial reporting groupYour ImpactPrepare and analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC and Company policiesPrepare and analyze standard monthly/quarterly reporting provided to executive managementPrepare workpapers to support the Earnings Release and Forms 10-Q and 10-KPrepare consolidating journal entriesCompile ad hoc analyses and reports for internal and external reporting requirementsPrepare and submit various census reports with government authoritiesSupport preparation of statutory audited financial statements for certain foreign entitiesComplete special projects requested by various internal departments Identify and implement process improvementsClick here for benefit details related to this position.Minimum Salary: $86,800.00Maximum Salary: $117,600.00VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.QualificationsYour ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting required and a CPA certification is a plusThree to six years accounting and/or auditing experienceExperience with financial and general ledger systems (experience with Hyperion a plus)Ability to establish and maintain positive partnerships and influence othersExcellent customer service skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interface with senior managementStrong problem-solving skillsDemonstrate capability of assuming increasing responsibilitiesAbility to work well independently and in groupsStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong PC skills using Microsoft products with emphasis on Excel (e.g., v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.)Experience/knowledge of process improvement techniques a plusWe will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest records, conviction records, or other criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of any applicable state and local laws.
