From sod farms to fairways, our team blends disciplined machining with advanced robotics and electrification to produce high-performance equipment at scale.We are expanding. Our machining department is growing to support increased production demand across both product lines. We need a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and knows how to scale people, process, and performance.Your RoleYou will lead and develop a current and growing team of approximately 12 machinists across two shifts. You will drive output, strengthen quality systems, improve workflow, and build structure as the department grows. You will own the performance on the floor.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop machinists and operators across day and swing shifts Oversee daily production schedules and ensure on-time delivery Review and validate CNC mill and lathe programs for efficiency and quality Optimize cycle times, tooling strategies, and machine utilization Support new product introductions for agricultural equipment and AMP mower platforms Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to execute production plans Champion safety, ISO standards, and continuous improvement initiatives Track KPIs such as OEE, scrap, and cycle time performanceWhat You Bring5 to 7 years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a production environment Advanced CNC mill and lathe programming experience, including multi-axis operations Strong proficiency with CAM software such as FeatureCam Deep understanding of G code, tooling strategies, GD and T, and precision measurement 10 plus years of supervisory or lead experience managing machining personnel Experience managing multi-shift operations and meeting aggressive production targets Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferredEquipment and EnvironmentDMG MORI CNC mills and lathes FeatureCam programming software Leading Day Shift Monday through Friday and Swing Shift Monday through ThursdayCompensation and BenefitsSalary dependent on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Paid time off and paid holidays Company ownership via Stock Options Professional development opportunitiesWhy FireFlyWork with advanced automation and robotics technology Lead a department positioned for continued growth Competitive compensation and a full benefits package 401k, PTO, paid holidays, and professional development supportIf you have led machining teams, improved production systems, and built strong technical cultures, we want to speak with you.
