Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager CFM Associates Inc. is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction, repair, and renovation projects. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for directing technicians and subcontractors day to day, keeping jobs on schedule, and ensuring work is completed safely and to CFM standards. This is NOT an entry-level position. We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years of construction management or supervisory experience who can take ownership of jobs, issue daily work instructions, solve field problems, and hold crews accountable. Responsibilities Lead daily field operations and instruct technicians on job tasks and priorities Assign manpower, coordinate subcontractors, and manage schedules Read and execute scopes of work, drawings, and specifications Perform site walkthroughs, verify measurements, and ensure job readiness Enforce safety, quality control, and site cleanliness Track progress, document work, and communicate updates to clients and office Identify scope gaps and assist with change orders Manage punch lists and project close-out Qualifications 5+ years of construction project management, foreman, or supervisory experience Strong commercial construction knowledge (carpentry, drywall, painting, doors/hardware, concrete) Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple projects Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver’s license; travel required in NJ/NY/PA Ability to lift 50+ lbs and access ladders/lifts when needed Pay & Benefits $35–$50/hr (salary option available) PTO, sick time, 401(k) options, health insurance option Company vehicle/tools may be provided; overtime available Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
