Position Title: Cyber Security Solutions R&D AnalystLocation: Hybrid w/ possibility of remote, near Stennis, MSEmployment Type: Full‑TimeSalary Range: $98,000 - $110,000Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearancePosition OverviewWe are seeking a Cyber Security Solutions R&D Analyst to support research, development, and engineering activities focused on improving security operations and addressing complex cybersecurity challenges. This role serves as a technical problem‑solver and subject matter contributor, working across teams to research solutions, analyze security gaps, and support the development and enhancement of cybersecurity capabilities.The ideal candidate brings hands‑on technical expertise, a strong understanding of security operations, and the ability to translate emerging threats and requirements into actionable solutions.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experienceAt least three (3) years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or incident responseStrong understanding of security principles, tools, and technologies used in operational environmentsExperience developing or supporting security controls, automations, or analytical solutionsAbility to apply structured problem‑solving methodologies to complex technical challengesCertificationsOne of the following certifications (or comparable certifications) is required:ISC² CISSPCISMCEHOr other comparable cybersecurity certificationsTechnical Skills (Desired)Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Perl, or similarAbility to develop or support dashboards, queries, and analytics using security monitoring toolsFamiliarity with security frameworks, standards, and best practicesStrong documentation and technical communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesConduct research and development activities to address identified cybersecurity gaps and challengesProvide technical analysis and engineering support across cybersecurity operations and initiativesAssist with documenting analyses of alternatives and recommended security solutionsSupport development and enhancement of security processes, procedures, and controlsServe as a technical escalation point for complex cybersecurity issuesApply industry best practices to improve security operations and defensive capabilitiesDevelop and maintain security controls and user stories aligned with recognized cybersecurity frameworksPerform scripting and analysis to support dashboards, metrics, and security visibilitySupport vulnerability analysis, penetration testing efforts, and security assessments as neededCollaborate across functional areas to ensure continuity of operations and effective solution integrationBenefits OverviewCorinth offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees’ health, well being, and financial security.
