You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.This position requires exposure to high noise levels.This position requires heavy lifting and carrying of objects up to 45lbs.This position may require climbing which could exceed heights of 20 feet or more.QualificationsAbility to assist with metal repair, fabrication, layout, and structural disassembly/assembly operationsSkill in the safe use of basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment commonly used in metalworking environmentsAbility to read and follow written work instructions, technical manuals, drawings, or sketches with guidanceAbility to perform measurements, layout, drilling, trimming, deburring, and fitting tasks to support aircraft component repairKnowledge of shop safety practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to learn aircraft-specific repair procedures, materials, and specifications through formal training and on-the-job instructionAbility to work effectively as part of a team, follow directions, and perform assignments reliably and dependably in a production environment
