This role is responsible for managing daily office operations while also assisting with HR coordination, employee administration, and compliance support.The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, experience in HR functions, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical sales environment within the laser welding industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOffice AdministrationOversee daily office operations and ensure smooth workflowManage office supplies, vendors, and facility coordinationAnswer and route incoming calls and emailsOrganize meetings, company events, and customer visitsMaintain filing systems and documentation (digital and physical)HR Support (Preferred Background)Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processesMaintain employee records and HR documentationSupport payroll processing coordination with external providersAssist with benefits administration and employee inquiriesEnsure compliance with Massachusetts and federal labor regulationsSupport recruitment coordination (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication)Assist in implementing company policies and HR proceduresQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred3–5 years of office administration experienceExperience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or a technical sales environment is a plusKnowledge of U.S. and Massachusetts employment laws preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, or ERP/CRM systems is a plusExcellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion
