Because home infusion involves high-cost drugs and complex insurance landscapes, this role is a vital mix of clinical support and administrative coordination.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Review: Evaluate new patient files, including diagnoses, treatment plans, medication dosing, lab results, and potential drug interactions.The First Impression: Act as the primary clinical point of contact for new patients, ensuring their first experience with our pharmacy is positive, clear, and empathetic.Care Coordination: Seamlessly manage communication between prescribing physicians, internal pharmacy teams, field infusion nurses, and caregivers.Patient Education: Lead conversations regarding how infusions work, side effect management, and infection prevention.Insurance Support: Assist in justifying medical necessity to ensure patients get the life-changing therapies they need.Who You AreLicensed Professional: Active RN or LVN/LPN license.Empathetic Leader: You can navigate difficult conversations with patients dealing with chronic diseases while maintaining a high level of empathy and clinical authority.Specialty Knowledge: Experience in Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy is a plus, but we also value backgrounds in Rheumatology, Immunology, or Neurology.Adaptable: You are comfortable working onsite in a brand-new, modern office and are ready to tackle the "scrappy" challenges of a growing business.Training & EnvironmentOnboarding: We are committed to your success.
