Locum General Surgery Alaska 24 Hour call shifts!Details:Location: Alaska Kenai PeninsulaDuration: January-November 2026Call shifts: 24 Hour call, 7am-7am (required full blocks below)Scope: Bread and Butter General Surgery call coverage, Robotics and GI scopes strongly preferred but not required (GI at hospital does clinic only, however if General surgeon doesnt do scopes, IM providers are capable)Procedures: Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, bowel surgery, biopsy, mastectomy, tumor removal, wound care, upper GI scopes, thyroid, parathyroid, Trauma stabilization (only 2-3 a year)Volume: varies, sometimes only 2 calls per week, some are 10 calls per dayEMR: EPIC (experience strongly preferred); DaVinci RobotHospital: Level IV Trauma, 63 beds, 3 GS in groupCredentialing: 60-90 daysRequire: BC/BE GS, Active AK license preferredOpen Dates Needed, 7am-7am call:01/12-01/1902/02-02/0902/23-03/0203/16-03/2304/06-04/1304/27-05/0405/18-05/2506/08-06/1506/29-07/0607/20-07/2708/10-08/1708/31-09/0709/21-09/2810/12-10/1911/02-11/0911/23-11/30Benefits:1099 ContractA+ Malpractice CoverageFull T&L providedCompetitive Pay, negotiated on your behalf
