HR Generalist

Radiance Technologies is seeking a HR Generalist in Dayton, OH. This position requires a proven ability to collaborate with senior staff, build effective partnerships, and communicate information at all levels. Applicants must have a strong customer-service driven mindset with a desire to create a supportive and welcoming environment for all.Duties IncludeConduct and facilitate onboarding process for new employees, working closely with management to support a smooth transition for new hiresConduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of all required documentation and tasksUtilize Workday HRIS to process employment and personnel actionsAdminister termination process, including capturing documentation, conducting exit interviews, and offboarding communicationManage and track employee leave, including FMLA, disability, military, and other leave types, ensuring compliance with all applicable lawsComplete verifications of employment and background check requestsEngage in process improvement measures and process documentationParticipate in the coordination and planning of employee engagement and company culture initiativesEnsure compliance with document retention policies and data privacy standardsPerform other HR-related duties as assignedRequired Experience5+ years demonstrated HR experienceKnowledge of employment laws, HR regulations, practices, procedures, and programsProven ability to prioritize tasks and to organize workload to ensure that short timelines are met given frequent interruptionsExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience with HRIS systems and data managementRequired EducationBachelor’s degreeDesired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related field5+ years demonstrated experience as a HR generalist or business partnerSolid knowledge of employment laws and regulationsCompensation experience in areas such as total rewards, benchmarking, and market analysisLeadership skills and a passion for creating trustworthy relationshipsExperience with the DOD, Federal, or Defense Industry sectorsSociety for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) or similar certificationExperience with Workday HRISRadiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
