The successful candidate will create an engaging learning environment that promotes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills aligned with New York State Learning Standards. Responsibilities include planning and delivering effective physics instruction, utilizing laboratory experiences and technology to enhance learning, assessing student progress, maintaining a positive classroom culture, and collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff to support student success.RequirementsCandidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop an appreciation for science and real-world applications of physics. New York State certification in Physics is required.
