At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine.How you create impactUse material handling (MH) equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers including the use of forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy MH equipment.Verify and receive materials into inventory.Marks and categorizes packages for storage or transit, which may include palletizing and shrink-wrapping.May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.Use of MH equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse.Use of MH equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to standard practice.Use of MH equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution.Works from pick sheet to pull product or supplies.Check orders against pull sheets.Dangerous Goods - ensuring the necessary procedures must be followed, and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouse.Maintain warehouse clean and free of debris at all times.Adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies.May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.Overtime as needed.What we would like you to bring* 1+ years of current experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment operating material handling (MH) equipment.* Relevant certification required for handling any hazardous material(s) (preferred).What's in it for youAt Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
