Gate Clerk

The Gate Clerk is the first and last point of contact for inbound and outbound loads at a customer facility. This position may work a rotating shift.Responsibilities:Process Inbound and Outbound loads.Checking in and maintaining security with outside careersPerforming yard audits as neededKeep accurate record of all inbound and outbound trailers.Check seals and numbers on all inbound and outbound trails.Security-adjacent tasks such as gate management and perimeter reportingPrioritize and process both Inbound and Outbound paperwork and BOLs (Bill of Lading)Assist in maintaining consistent flow of freight for timely outbound/inbound processing.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesThe ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment.Ability to Multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.Excellent communication skillsAbility to compile and record data in an efficient and accurate mannerHave knowledge of customer and company requirements regarding shipping and receivingEducation/ExperienceHigh school Diploma or Equivalent2+ years' experience in an administrative capacity preferred2+ Years Customer Service Experience preferred.HighJump WMs experience is preferred but not required.Transportation or warehouse experience preferred.Competitive CompensationWe believe in rewarding excellence.
