HR Manager

HR ManagerThe Human Resources Manager will oversee all core HR functions for a growing, people-focused organization of approximately 100 employees operating under multiple employer entities. This role is hands-on and highly visible, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee experience.Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (Top Priority)Manage full-cycle recruiting for all positions, from posting through offer.Support ongoing hiring volume of technical and administrative roles.Partner with hiring managers to forecast needs and maintain talent pipelines.Conduct interviews, reference checks, and evaluate technical and cultural fit.Personally manage onboarding, new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and orientation.Oversee occasional offboarding with professionalism and discretion.2. Compensation & Benefits AdministrationConduct salary benchmarking and recommend competitive pay structures.Administer benefits programs including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, FMLA, and leave programs.Support employees with benefits questions, claims issues, and open enrollment.Partner with leadership on annual compensation planning and budgeting.3. HR Systems & ReportingMaintain HRIS systems (payroll, benefits, PTO tracking, evaluations).Manage payroll processing.Create HR metrics and reports related to hiring, turnover, retention, and compliance.Identify and implement HR process improvements.4. Employee Relations & CultureBuild strong, trusted relationships with employees at all levels.Serve as primary contact for employee relations matters and conflict resolution.Coach managers on leadership, communication, and performance management.Foster a supportive, respectful, and values-driven workplace.Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards.5. Performance Management & Other DutiesSupport performance reviews and manager feedback conversations.Track promotions, raises, and key employee milestones.Perform other duties aligned with skills and experience.QualificationsRequired5+ years of progressive HR experience; strong HR Generalists encouraged to apply.Solid understanding of federal and state employment law.Proven discretion, ethical judgment, and integrity.Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.EducationBachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).CertificationsSHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.Nice to HaveExperience supporting a workforce of 75–150 employees.Background in service-based, technical, or hands-on operational environments.Experience working in close-knit or family-oriented cultures.Personal CharacteristicsHigh integrity and strong moral compass.Warm, approachable, and empathetic communicator.Calm under pressure with sound judgment in sensitive situations.Adaptable, proactive, and systems-minded.Professional, polished, and highly organized.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
