Location: Remote.
KULR Technology Location: Webster, Texas.

Position Overview
The Senior Human Resources Generalist is a critical, high-impact role across the organization with administrative responsibility for multiple HR functional areas, including but not limited to: recruiting, compensation, payroll, data reporting and analysis, benefits, leaves coordination for our Webster, Texas HQ and remote employees. This position partners with business units to support clients with front line questions, offer general support and serve as a trusted resource to staff across the organization. This role serves as a subject matter expert regarding organizational policies and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance.
Functions
Talent Acquisition (TA): Drives full-cycle recruiting, including but not limited to: job description creation, posting, pre-screening qualified applicants, offers, background checks. Drives and supports ATS (Applicant Tracking System) rollout.
New Hires: Facilitates new hire orientation with cross functional teams, keys into HRIS, captures and disseminates new hire bio.
Payroll: Manage semi-monthly payroll for entire organization, including but not limited to: entry, corrections, retroactive adjustments, processing, funding, reporting, pay increases, payroll-related communications to organization, etc.) Accurate wage computation. Advise supervisors and employees regarding compliant time reporting aligned to relevant federal and state laws. Facilitates training on payroll-related topics for staff and supervisors as needed.
Employee relations: Manages all employee concerns, from inquiry through full-blown formal investigation, including but not limited to: inquiry, investigation planning, interviews, fact-finding, case report with findings and conclusion).
Equity processing: creation of grants, data administration and processing of vesting related documents, and related payroll functions.
Annual reporting for federal compliance, including but not limited to: EEO-1, OFCCP, Affirmative Action Plan, California Pay Data, VETS-4212.
Data Management: Manages data entry, auditing, reconciliation and corrections as needed across various platforms. Provides custom ad-hoc reporting as necessary.
Manages reporting processes, claims, with employment-related state and federal entities.
Performance Management: Coordinates performance evaluation process. Front-line employee relations as needed.
Benefits: Leaves administration (including but not limited to: FMLA, CFRA, PDL, LOA, etc.), including communications with employees and supervisors, usage tracking. Initial, front line response for worker's compensation claims. Supports annual Open Enrollment process as needed.
Separations: Processes separations, final checks, exit interviews.
Training and Development: Coordinates, issues via ADP, and tracks trainings for all staff.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion: Supports EDI through the employee life cycle.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, elevating complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff as needed.
Maintains current and in-depth knowledge of and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains employee records of pay, benefits, accidents, performance, and other activities and files reporting required to comply with labor laws and regulations.
Assists with the evaluation of, selection of, and management of vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services.
Collaborates with leadership on special projects.
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field, required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience as HR Generalist.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Highly knowledgeable of compensation and benefits administration.
Strong data management skills with outstanding attention to detail.
Strong demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS); implementation, daily use, custom reporting and system integrations.
Highly proficient in Employee Relations inquiry and investigation. Highly skilled in investigation planning, interviewing, fact-finding and report writing.
Strong knowledge of USCIS requirements regarding employment eligibility and familiarity with legal compliance regarding employment authorization.
Sound understanding of federal and state employment law to ensure legal compliance in all HR practices.
Strong knowledge of current HR regulatory environment and compliance, maintaining adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Outstanding full-cycle recruiting skills, from job posting to candidate selection and onboarding.
Demonstrated HR Policy Administration capabilities, ensuring policies are updated and implemented consistently.
Broad knowledge of onboarding procedures, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires.
Skilled in change management, facilitating transitions and maintaining employee morale.
Strong knowledge of performance management programs and platforms.
Familiarity with compliant safety policies and Procedures, ensuring workplace safety and compliance.
Strong knowledge of salary program administration, managing compensation structures to attract and retain talent.
Efficient training design and delivery skills to facilitate employee development programs and initiatives.
