Details Position is in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule, working 3 days per week at 12 hours per day (36 hours per week) CVICU and NICU experience is preferred Level 1 facility experience is required 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — AHA-issued certifications only Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Level 1 facility experience required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for managing an assigned group of pediatric ICU patients, including documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments Monitors and interprets physiological data, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products Collaborates with physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Engages patients and families in care planning throughout the hospital stay and at discharge Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after completing 26 weeks (one extension) before being eligible for another contract Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, medical requirements) must be completed promptly — the facility does not negotiate start dates and will cancel placements for non-compliance American Traveler Job ID P-689244.
