With over 110 locations and a values-driven culture, CVR is a place to grow, feel included, and make a lasting positive impact.Our Licensed Practical Nurses Enjoy:Fast paced, learning working environment4-day work weekNo nights, weekends, or on-callEligible for clinic bonuses and other incentivesMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401k ProgramCompetitive pay and benefitsPTO + 8 paid holidaysTuition reimbursementCME and Scrub allowanceSchedule and Locations:CVR Fairfax-Monday/Wednesday 7am-5:30pmCVR Alexandria-Tuesday/Thursday 6am-4:30pmFour 10-hr shiftsDuties and Responsibilities:Responsibility I - General:Provide excellent patient careWork together with the team members at the center(s) to reach center goalsTrain new clinical staff as neededProvide feedback and answers to patient calls as appropriateAttend periodic team meetingsResponsibility II - Consult-based Nursing:Display a caring and courteous attitude and represent the practice in a positive, professional mannerProvide and document assessments, obtain and document vital signs, provides patient care, education, and counseling as directed by the providerFormulate a multimodality treatment strategy for the patients' venous insufficiency, under the direction of a providerTake accurate lower extremity measurements for fitted compression stockingsTake photos of the leg for medical necessity purposesGenerate patient referrals as necessary for continuity of careMaintain accurate and detailed reports and recordsMust demonstrate timely turnaround and completion of documentation within 24 - 48 hoursResponsibility III - Surgical Assisting:Assume duties of a Surgical Tech when needed to include mixing medications and assisting with sterile and non-sterile proceduresCompetently assist with proper patient positioning, prepping and draping according to procedural guidelinesAssist physician during procedures; sterile gowning/gloving, hands wires, catheters, syringes, surgical instruments, etc., as neededDress the patient's procedural sites and assist in the placement of compressive ace bandages and/or compressive stockings following provider's ordersAdhere to all infection control, universal precautions, and safety policies and dispose of medical waste properlyPrepare and maintain the procedure room - clean, stock, maintain equipment & instruments according to company guidelinesMaintain inventory of surgical equipment so that the center does not run out of surgical supplies but also does not oversupply the center - manage par levelsMaintain accurate records related to receipt of medical supplies by updating Hybrent in a timely mannerMaintain all logs and required checks - daily integrity check of emergency medications, monthly code/crash inventory assessment, oxygen level check, CO2 level check, autoclave maintenance, maxi log, sterilization log, medication mixing log, etc.) - upload EOM items timely in relation to actual end of monthOther duties as assigned by management, or clinical directorMinimum Requirements:Must have passed LPN licensing exam and currently in good standing with the appropriate state Department of Health ProfessionsMinimum of 2 years of previous nursing experience requiredMust have reliable transportation and be able to travel to CVR ClinicsBilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred
