This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in fluid power, industrial distribution, or engineered solutions who enjoys building relationships, solving technical challenges, and developing new business opportunities.In this role, you will own and grow a territory by developing strong relationships with key decision makers, identifying customer needs, and delivering tailored fluid power solutions that drive value for our customers.Essential FunctionsDevelop and grow long-term relationships with engineers, purchasing leaders, maintenance teams, and operations decision makersIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within your territoryConduct regular customer visits, prospecting activities, and technical sales discussionsProvide consultative solutions that leverage WIT’s hydraulic, pneumatic, and engineered system capabilitiesPrepare and deliver customer proposals, presentations, and solution recommendationsCollaborate with internal teams including engineering, operations, purchasing, and leadership to deliver the right solutionsMaintain an active pipeline of opportunities and manage customer relationships through our CRM platformPartner with manufacturer representatives and leadership on key sales calls and strategic opportunitiesDevelop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales and margin growthExperience, Education And SkillsBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred, OR equivalent industry experienceFluid Power certification is a plus5+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably hydraulics and pneumatics. Strong background in solution-based or consultative sellingExperience developing sales proposals, presentations, and account plansAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersFamiliarity with industrial automation, mechanical systems, electrical controls, or PLCs is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systemsSelf-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a customer-facing sales environmentA collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting team successWhy Join Us?
