We're looking for a Plant Operations Technician to help maintain and operate essential facility and power plant systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Job Summary: Operates and performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems, boilers and power plant equipment. Assists with complex and non-routine maintenance tasks.ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and maintain HVAC, boiler, and power plant equipmentPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system repairsTroubleshoot mechanical issues and respond to equipment needsRepair and maintain pumps, compressors, steam and water systemsSupport and maintain building automation systems (VAVs, AHUs, thermostats)Document work and follow safety and operational proceduresQualificationsWhat you bring:2+ years of experience in a related mechanical or facilities roleStrong mechanical and HVAC knowledgeProven troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills and clear communicationReliability, teamwork, and a safety-first mindsetEducationHigh School diploma/GED or equivalent years of experienceExperienceOne year of experiencePhysical RequirementsConstant standing and walkingFrequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0–25 lbsFrequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entryFrequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more)Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
