Job BriefKable Workforce Solutions is hiring an Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our client. This job is responsible for combining knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits. They perform necessary duties to support production operations, testing, and maintain unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment. What's a Typical Day Like?· Possess continuous desire for learning and improvement pertaining to the electro mechanical position.· Demonstrate throughout understanding of client's operations.· Perform all maintenance functions, including electro-mechanical functions, in both team environments and individually.· Demonstrate and perform electro mechanical operations for the client.· Take electronics course from accredited university. (Preferably a mega-tronics course.)· Demonstrated knowledge of programming client's equipment.· Demonstrated ability to work with PLC, client's programs· Knowledge of electronic schematics What Are the Requirements of the Job?· Preferred well-rounded maintenance experience in all depts.· Completion of a related vocation training program or certification preferred· High School diploma or equivalent work experience· Skills· Demonstrate In depth knowledge of electronic systems, PLC's, and equipment.· Demonstrate Knowledge of Allen-Bradley software including RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000· Demonstrate Familiarity with Siemens S7 software.· Ability to use a computerized work order system· Demonstrate Time management and problem solving ability· High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines· Demonstrate Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team· Good English communication skills, both written and verbal· Basic computer skills· Demonstrate Complex problem solving in all aspects of job· Sitting at workstation approximately 20% of work time, standing and walking approximately 80%· Lift / push / pull up to 75 pounds· Ability to twist, reach, and bend· Requires ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate objects· Ability to operate various machine and hand tools· Involves moderate risks or discomforts and special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, pallets, trucks and machines.· Ability to wear provided PPE including hearing protection and steel toed shoes Company DescriptionAt Kable Workforce Solutions we are passionate about people and their placements.Kable Staffing is an experienced, full and temporary staffing agency.
