ENTEK is seeking applications for a Finance Business Analyst role to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required). The Finance Business Analyst works within the Information Technology Department and reports to the Lead Business Analyst. Qualified candidates should be able to provide focused functional and technical expertise for accounting structure supporting ENTEK’s global manufacturing, distribution, and projects from implementation through operation support. Manages processes to ensure application configuration models, business process models, project and deployment templates, testing scenario templates, and core reference or training material, are all available for business partners related work. They address processes that span multiple work groups within our business organization. Has the ability to work with high-level overviews all the way through detailed transactional tasks and steps. Executes tasks with an understanding of how the processes, application systems, tools, and users contribute to business objectives and project goals. Key responsibilities include: Manage assignments that are of a dynamic nature; assigned projects and tasks will require broad industry and technical knowledge of D365 F&SC, specifically Finance functionality, as well as exceptional organizational, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Identify opportunities to improve business processes and to use technology to improve revenue, reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase customer service.? Understand how changes may impact cross-system integrations. Generates application design, training, and technical documentation. Ensure solutions leverage industry best practices, meet ENTEK standards, and are designed for performance and supportability. Answer feature and functional questions, completing in-depth application research for business, and performing translations (both verbally and in writing) between technical and business groups for system usage, requirements, and gaps. Be aware of future trends and directions in the D365 F&SC Finance capabilities. Map D365 to Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for Finance processes and reports. Follow project plans and deadlines as outlined by Project Management. Escalate issues/blockers as they arise and provide necessary documentation when required. Ability to travel when required, up to 35% during implementation and 10% thereafter. Analyze technology solutions and presenting recommendations without personal bias. Ensure requirements are clearly defined and technical solutions meet the needs of business partners. Ensure design, release, and support documentation is created; examples would be Functional Requirements, Functional Designs, Gap documentation. Serves as a support resource to other ENTEK ERP team members as needed. Provide remote support and resolution via phone and or remote-control screen, sharing software, or onsite working directly with end-user. Identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring and incidental support issues for end users. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Consistently perform high quality work in a safe manner without supervision. Follow Lean manufacturing utilizing tools such as Kaizens, 5S, RIE’s and other work area standards. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience. Three (3) years Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain and Finance experience. Expertise in ERP Financials, including system configuration. Expert knowledge of financial processes and familiarity with financial systems. Strong analytical skills. Exceptional organizational, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to consistently perform high quality work independently and as part of a team. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications (documentation), with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable global solutions. Professional understanding of Microsoft Office tools. Working knowledge of data analytical tools. Broad understanding of technical solution components. Knowledge of project management fundamentals. Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen. Satisfactory results from a pre-employment background check. Preferred Qualifications Understands data integrations in the context of an ERP. Familiarity with third party services for the financial industry. Exposure to Lean principles. SQL experience.
