The Role As a Yoga Instructor at the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC), you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate members of all fitness levels through engaging and effective group fitness classes. This role requires professionalism, punctuality, and the ability to lead classes with enthusiasm and confidence. If you’re passionate about fitness, well-being, and creating a vibrant class experience, this role is perfect for you! What You’ll Do Ensure a positive and motivating experience for all participants. Continuously develop and refine your class sequences to keep members engaged and excited. Foster a supportive environment where members feel encouraged to reach their Yoga goals. Prioritize member safety by adhering to best practices and maintaining all required certifications. Arrive prepared, on time, and with a positive attitude to every class. What You’ll Bring Current Yoga certification (e.g., Mat and/or Reformer Pilates, Yoga, Aerobic formats, Barre, HIIT, Strength formats). A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in Yoga or group fitness. Must hold a current CPR/AED certification or be willing to obtain it within 90 days. Work Hours Instructors must be available for a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
