First Shift CNC Set-Up Operator
This is a full-time on-site role for a first-shift CNC set-up operator. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts. The Machinist will ensure the quality of the parts meets customer specifications and will make adjustments to the machines as needed.
Qualifications
Proficient in using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of parts
Experience with 5 Axis CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and EDM
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Proficient in using CAM software to create machining programs
Knowledge of metal and plastic properties and machining techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or an Associate's degree in Machining Technology is preferred
Prior experience in Aerospace, Medical, Optics, or Semiconductor industries is a plus
