The Controller will have direct visibility into event-level financial performance and will partner closely with leadership to forecast, budget, and evaluate profitability across each production.Key Responsibilities: Lead cost forecasting and budgeting for live events (venue rental, staging, lighting, production, etc.)Perform project-based accounting and financial modeling to determine event profitabilityReconcile event budgets on-site to prevent cost overrunsTransition Accounts Payable from outsourced to in-house operationsOversee internal Accounts Receivable processesPartner with executive leadership on strategic financial planning and growth initiativesSupport the continued build-out of the internal accounting infrastructureTravel to live events approximately 5–10 times annuallyQualifications: CPA required7–10 years of accounting experience, ideally within live events, concerts, production studios, television production, or sports productionStrong cost forecasting and budgeting experience in production-based environmentsExperience with project accounting and event-level reconciliationComfortable in a demanding, early-stage startup environmentHands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindsetWillingness to work extended hours and occasional weekends as events requireThis is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role at a company experiencing rapid growth, where your financial oversight will directly influence the success and scalability of major live productions.
