Engineering Intern
The Position: Intern, EngineeringThe Engineer Intern learns, grows, and applies engineering tools and knowledge (mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, civil, structural, environmental, economics, maintenance, and ergonomics) to assist developing, leading, and implement cost savings and cost prevention projects. Additionally, this position uses project management skills to keep initiatives and projects on track. The Engineer Intern is responsible for working with various departments and teams to support improving the efficiency and effectiveness of all production related manufacturing equipment and processes required to maintain high quality products in a repeatable and cost-effective manner.This position reports to the Director of Engineering with dotted line accountability to the Plant Engineers for project and site-specific direction.
