Superintendent

Retro Environmental is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for asbestos & lead abatement, mold remediation, and demolition projects. This role is responsible for overseeing jobsite execution, supervising field teams, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within scope.Employment offer and the benefits package include:Excellent salaryMedical, Dental, Vision, Prescription coverageCompany paid short-term and long-term disabilityPaid vacation and holiday time401K PlanDirect depositSalary range is from $70,000.00 to $93,000.00 commensurate with experience.Essential duties and responsibilitiesProject Planning and EducationReview project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure work is completed according to scope and requirements.Coordinate with Project Managers and Supervisors to plan work schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment.Oversee the execution of abatement and demolition work to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Identify potential issues and communicate changes, delays, or scope questions to the Project Manager.Team LeadershipLead and support field supervisors and crews to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.Provide direction, coaching and mentorship to develop team members and maintain high performance.Maintain regular communication with project teams and conduct routine jobsite visits.Resource & OperationsEnsure projects have the necessary materials, equipment, and manpower to meet project goals.Coordinate equipment rentals, waste disposal, and material deliveries with Operations.Monitor resources usage and coordinate the return of unused equipment or materials to control costs.Safety & CompliancePromote and enforce a strong safety culture across all jobsites.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable environmental and demolition standards.Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments to protect team members.Quality ControlEnsure abatement and demolition work meets company standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.Conduct inspections and monitor project quality and performance.Client CommunicationMaintain professional relationships with clients and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns.Communicate project updates and document discussions that impact project scope, schedule, or cost.Documentation & ReportingEnsure accurate project documentation including daily logs, photos, reports, inspections, and safety records.Support field teams in properly documenting work thorough company systems.Additional ResponsibilitiesAssist with other duties as needed to support project success and team performance.Minimum QualificationsExperience supervising asbestos abatement and/or demolition projectsStrong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance requirementsProven leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesFluent in both English and Spanish is preferred but not requiredFor more information, please visit our website www.retroenvironmental.comRetro Environmental is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
