Cloud Application Security Architect

Job Title: Cloud Application Security Architect Location: Washington, DC 20433 Duration: 12 Months – Long Term Contract Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Application Security Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud Security, AI/ML technologies, and DevSecOps practices. This role will lead enterprise security architecture initiatives with a focus on application security , cloud-native applications, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, and AI/LLM security. Top Required Skills 15+ years of professional IT experience in enterprise environments, software development lifecycle (SDLC), information security, and application security. 8+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Security Architecture, Application Security, and Cloud Security. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), demonstrating proficiency in automating and managing infrastructure through code. Strong background in AI/LLM security, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for Generative AI systems, with the ability to apply AI technologies to solve complex business and security challenges.
