Beauty Packaging Designer

Our client, a global beauty brand, is looking to hire a Packaging Designer on a freelance basis, ASAP! This contract role is about 1 year in duration, 3x/week onsite in NYC.Responsibilities:Manage the design and production of all product packagingDesign across various consumer touchpointsWork with comp houses on all presentation compsOversee and manage packaging artwork and retouchingSupport with sourcing and utilize outside vendors, artists, and designers for new innovative package solutions.Qualifications:5+ years of related experience in the beauty industryBA or BFA in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Graphic Design or related fieldConceptual thinker, strong sensibility for shape and 3D visualization. Being able to ideate, develop, present and execute projects from start to finish in highest qualityProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), 3D CAD/ Modelling and rendering experience in Mac environment.
