Job Title: IT Director – NTIC – Circle Pines, MinnesotaJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Partial RemoteTravel Required: MinimalPurposeWe are looking for an IT Director with recent Project Management and Application Integration experience. Main job duties are to oversee all IT (Information Technology) aspects in the company with respect to needs assessment, solution evaluation, vendor selection and implementation related to, but not limited to the following: ERP platform, CRM, telephony system, EDI, R&D and on-line B to B sales, as well as Integration with vendors, international subsidiaries, and joint venture companies.NTIC is a mid-sized manufacturing company, this position would support the IT needs of around 100 employees located in North America, with most based in Minnesota.NTIC has manufacturing, inventory management, sourcing/procurement, and global shipping needs, Furthermore, as a publicly traded company, the accounting/financial reporting system must be Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) compliant. The ideal candidate is very knowledgeable in the ERP systems, policies and processes required by an organization of similar size and operations as NTIC. They have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the company.Role And ResponsibilitiesLead a technology transformation initiative for NTIC to revamp/replace the current ERP to accommodate the evolving business needsImplement an integration strategy of business use applications with simplistic SSO considerations regarding on premise, cloud and SaaS based applications.Identify the need for lifecycle management, consolidation, configuration management or new architecture.Review & valuate all technology operations and report to upper managementAnalyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needsDevise, implement and establish IT policies, controls, business processes and systems to support the strategies set by upper managementEnable the use of technology as a strategic lever for growth at NTICManage budget and report on expenditureAssist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contractsEstablish and maintain cyber security features, policies and procedures for entire organizationOversee the IT help desk function for day-to-day operations of NTICQualifications And Education RequirementsBachelor’s (Preferred)Management: 5 years (Preferred)US work authorization (Required)SAP S/4HANA experience (Required)Preferred SkillsProven experience as an ERP Project Manager or similar roleExperience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specificationsSound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.Experience in controlling information technology budgetExcellent organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication abilitiesBSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plusISOEvery employee is expected to support the NTIC Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with our Quality System Manual and Quality Control Procedures.
